The observance of Flag Day and the 111th Philippine Independence Day celebration (June 12) kicked off with a flag raising ceremony at the Iloilo Freedom Grandstand yesterday, attended by close to a thousand government employees, representatives from the academe, the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police.
